What we found

Three seasons in the menu, and not a date on any of them
Hunting Season, Summer Season and Winter Season are the three pillars of the site, and none of them says when it starts or ends. A hunter books flights around a rut; a family books around school holidays. Both need the date before they need anything else.

Your own form asks which season, and the site never answers
The enquiry form asks whether somebody is interested in Summer, Winter or Hunting — which is exactly the right question. It is being asked of somebody the site has just declined to tell when any of the three happens.

There is no year anywhere on the site
No copyright line and no season. The only year we could find at all was a 2021 on the hunting page. For a remote resort a long way up a road, whether the place is still open is the first thing a visitor wants to know.

The front page is fourteen hundred characters
For a resort that runs three seasons, guides four species and has been in one family for fifty years, that is about a page of writing. Almost everything worth knowing is somewhere other than the page people land on.
The only year we could find anywhere on the site was a 2021 on the hunting page. There is no copyright line at all.
What already works
Fifty years, in one family
Operated by the Brooks family since 1975, with a second-generation outfitter guiding since 1994. That is stated plainly on the hunting page and it is the most persuasive sentence on the site.
Three seasons, not one
Most resorts this far up a forest service road sell one season and shutter for the other two. Running all three is the business, and the site is organised around it correctly.
The form asks the right question
Summer, winter or hunting — that single question routes an enquiry properly before anybody has typed a sentence. It only needs the site to have answered it first.
What would change
A date against each of the three
When the rut is on, when the lake is warm, when the sleds run. Three lines, and every enquiry that follows arrives already knowing whether it is possible.
A from-price per season
Three numbers. A hunter comparing outfits and a family comparing lakes both need one, and neither will write to ask for it.
Put the fifty years on the front page
One family, since 1975, second generation guiding. It is on the hunting page and nowhere else, and it is the reason to choose this resort over one nobody has heard of.
Let the footer carry the year
So a visitor never has to wonder whether a remote resort is still open.
